Only 20 of the 100 members of NFL Network's Top 100 Players of 2019 have been revealed, but the Redskins already have a representative.
For the sixth consecutive year that representative is left tackle Trent Williams. The 7x-Pro Bowler was slated at No. 81 – his lowest rating since first cracking the Top 100 at No. 99 in 2013. This is the third-straight season that Williams has fallen in the rankings since his peak rating of No. 45 in 2016.
Williams is currently holding out from Redskins training camp, and there's no real timetable for his return.
Another Redskin who cracked the list in both 2017 and 2018 is new safety Landon Collins. It'll be interesting to see if he lands in the Top 100 in 2019, as Collins fell from No. 28 to 92 ahead of last season and his 2018 numbers were a step-down from both 2016 and 2017.
Washington could get another selection from an offensive position, though. Future Hall-of-Fame running back Adrian Peterson may rejoin the list following the 7th 1,000-yard season of his career.
