Lawrence Temple attended the University of Texas – both as an undergraduate where he obtained a BBA and in law school where he graduated with honors.
After law school, he clerked on the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and then served as a staff attorney as part of the US Department of Justice’s Honors Program.
In private practice, he was an associate at Brown McCarroll & Oaks Hartline, a partner in Temple & Temple, general counsel of Capital Sports & Entertainment Holdings, Inc., and is currently of counsel at Almanza, Blackburn & Dickie. His practice has focused on corporate law and entertainment and sports law.

He is past president of the West Austin Youth Association and is currently on the board of directors of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School and the Texas Exes, the alumni association of the University of Texas.
