The Titans targeted Delanie Walker early in the 2013 free agency period to bring physicality and versatility to the offense. The tight end spent the first seven years of his career with the San Francisco 49ers. His impact with the Titans was immediate, as he became the only tight end in franchise history other than Frank Wycheck to reach 60 receptions in a single season. The 6-foot, 248-pounder brings a unique element to the offense and poses match-up problems for defenses with his ability to line up in the backfield, on the line, in the slot and as a wideout. The Central Missouri State product utilizes his speed and athleticism not only on offense, but also on special teams, totaling 61 special teams tackles during his first eight seasons.
